Oats with Sprouts and Mixed Herbs


Ingredients:


Oats – 1 cup
Mixed Sprouts
Mixed Herbs (Oregano, Parsley, Chili flakes, garlic, etc) – easily available in super markets
Baby Carrot – 1, chopped into tiny pieces
Salt, Turmeric powder, Pepper powder / chili powder

Instructions:

  • ·         Heat 1 tsp Oil in a saucepan, add mustard seeds
  • ·         When it splitters add chopped Carrot and Sprouts – sauté for few mins
  • ·         Add 2 cups of water and let it boil till its cooked
  • ·         Meantime, mix Salt, Turmeric powder, Pepper powder and Mixed Herbs with Oats
  • ·         Add this mixture to the boiling water and stir cook for 3-5 mins or till it’s done
  • ·         Keep it in Porridge consistency and don’t wait till all the water is evaporated
  • ·         Serve steaming hot
  • It’s a healthy, easy to make and yummy breakfast before rushing to the office.
