Bhopla Raita / Bottle gourd Salad with curd / Lauki Raita / Suraikkai pachadi


Ingredients:


Chopped and Boiled Lauki – ½ cup
Tomato – 1, chopped
Chopped green chili
Coarse Groundnut powder – 1 tbsp.
Curd – ½ cup
Salt and chili powder to taste
Pinch of Sugar
Tempering – Oil, Hing, Turmeric powder, Mustard and Cumin seeds 

Instructions:

·         Mix the boiled lauki, chopped tomato, green chilies, groundnut powder, curd, salt, chili powder and sugar – mix well
·         In a tadka pan / small pan, heat oil and add hing, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and pinch of turmeric powder (curry leaves – optional)

·         Add this tadka / oil to the curd mixture and serve immediately. Can be served chilled as well
