Bhagar – 1 cup (soaked for 5 minutes in water)
Potato – thin slices
Green chilies – finely chopped
Groundnut coarse powder – ¼ cup (or more)
Groundnut – 2 tbsp
Oil / Ghee
Jeera / Cumin seeds
Curd (optional)
Salt
Sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- · Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, chopped green chilies, groundnut and potatoes – saute and let it cook for few minutes with a closed lid
- · Add coarse groundnut powder and salt in it
- · Add 2 cups of water and curd
- · when it boils add bhagar – keep stirring as it cooks and water is almost evaporated
- · Add a pinch of sugar while stirring if required
- · In a mixer jar add curd, coarse groundnut powder, water, sugar and salt – blend it for few minutes
- · Heat oil in a saucepan, add jeera, green chilies and curry leaves till they start smelling a little burnt
- · Add the blend curd mixture into the saucepan and let it heat
- · Turn off before it begins to boil
