Aambyachi Daal / Mango chutney with Channa dal


Ingredients:

Raw mango – 1, peeled and grated
Channa dal – 1 cup, soak for an hour and grind it in a mixer jar with salt
For tadka – Oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing and curry leaves
Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions:
  • ·         Add the grated raw mango to the channa dal paste and mix well
  • ·         Now heat oil in a tadka pan, add hing, mustard, cumin seeds and curry leaves till they splitter
  • ·         Add the tadka to the mango-channa dal mix
  • ·         Also add chopped coriander leaves, mix well and serve as side dish in maharastrian thali

  • ·         When diluted with water it can be used as side dish for idli, dosa, etc.,
