Sambar Oats


Ingredients:


Quaker Oats – 1 cup
Onion – 1, small, finely chopped
Oil
Mustard seeds
Turmeric powder
Sambar Masala
Salt
Coriander leaves – chopped
Water

Instructions:

  • ·         Heat oil in a frying pan, add mustard seeds
  • ·         When it crackles, add chopped onion – sauté till brown
  • ·         Add quaker oats, turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt – sauté and fry for few mins
  • ·         Later add 2 to 3 cups of water to cook the oats
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
