Instructions:
- · Heat oil in a non stick container and sauté chopped onion and chilies
- · I dint had Ginger-garlic paste at home so I dint use it. You can add it if you want.
- · Transfer the sautéed onion-chilies to a mixer/grinder jar, along with chopped raw tomato, coconut pieces, sambar masala and chili powder – grind it into a masala paste with very little water
- · In the same container add little oil again and fry the marinated prawns for 5 to 10 mins or until its cooked
- · Keep it aside and add oil to the container again
- · Add mustard seeds and when it splitters add chopped bell peppers – sauté
- · Add the masala paste and let it cook with little salt, by stirring occasional in order to avoid burning at the bottom of the container
- · Let it boil / cook until oil starts separating at the sides and the raw smell of masalas vanish
- · Now, add the fried prawns to the masala and mix it well
- · Let it cook for few mins and the Prawns masala is ready to relish with hot steaming rice
- · It’s a dry and thick gravy, but if you want to add water and make it a gravy of your choice.
