Ingredients:
Potatoes –
3, cubed and par boiled
Khus-khus /
poppy seeds (roasted)
Onion – 1,
finely sliced
Garlic
cloves – 4 to 5
Red Chilies
Mustard oil
/ Sarso ka thel
Mustard
seeds
Salt and
Turmeric powder
Coriander
leaves to garnish
Instructions:
- · Soak roasted poppy seeds in water for ½ hour
- · Later coarse grind soaked poppy seeds, red chilies and garlic – keep aside
- · In a pan heat mustard oil
- · Add Mustard seeds, Red Chilies and sliced Onion. Fry until golden brown
- · Then add Salt, Turmeric powder and the boiled potato cubes - fry for few mins
- · Add poppy seeds paste to it, mix and cook covered for 5 to 10 mins
- · Garnish with chopped Coriander leaves and serve
