Moong Chilla


Ingredients:

Whole Green Gram – soaked for 7-8 hours/ overnight
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Ginger-Garlic paste
Green chilies – finely chopped / Red Chili powder
Coriander leaves – chopped
Jeera – 1 or 2 tbsp
Salt

Instructions:

  • ·         Coarse grind the following ingredients without adding water at all – Soaked green gram, Ginger-garlic paste, Green Chilies, Jeera, Salt.
  • ·         Add Chopped Onion and coriander leaves – mix well
  • ·         Heat tawa, add few drops of oil, ladleful of batter and spread it to form a round shape
  • ·         Turn the chilla to cook well on both sides till crispy
  • ·         Serve with Coconut chutney, it tastes awesome
