Bajra Chilla


Ingredients:


Bajre ka atta (2 cup)
Gehu ka atta / Wheat flour (1 cup)
Salt
Chili powder
Grated carrot
Finely chopped Spinach / palak
Ajwain – 1 or 2 tbsp
Water

Instructions:
  • ·         In a mixing bowl, first add the attas, salt, chili powder and ajwain – add water and form dosa like batter, without any lumps
  • ·         Add the grated carrot and chopped spinach – mix well
  • ·         Heat a non stick tawa, grease it with oil, take a ladleful of batter and make round chillas
  • ·         Let it cook on both sides. I use to cover the tawa so that the upper side cooks in the steam.
  • ·         Serve with Coconut chutney or sambar
