Green Peas Pulao


Ingredients:

Rice – 2 cups, soaked for 30 mins
Frozen or Fresh Green Peas – 1 cup
Oil
Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon, Star aniseed, Cardamom, black pepper, etc
Cumin seeds
Salt

Instructions:

  • ·         Heat oil in a cooker, add all the spices - Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon, Star aniseed, Cardamom, black pepper, etc
  • ·         Add more of Jeera if you like, since it will give you taste of Jeera rice
  • ·         Add green peas and salt – sauté for few mins
  • ·         Add Soaked rice – fry for few mins
  • ·         Add water and pressure cook for 2 whistles


o   Serve hot with any Veg / Non Veg gravy. I served it with Mutton Curry.
