Onion Uttappa


Ingredients:

4 big onions – finely chopped
Green chilies – finely chopped
Coriander leaves – chopped
Salt
Uttappa batter
Oil / ghee / butter

Instructions:

  • ·         Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, green chilies and little salt – sauté till its golden brown in color
  • ·         Keep the onion aside
  • ·         Heat the Frying pan / tawa, add 2 ladle of uttappa batter – spread it a little on the top in a way the round shape is formed
  • ·         Place the fried onion all over the uttappa
  • ·         Also place coriander leaves all over as well
  • ·         Add ghee or butter or oil on and around the uttappa, as per your preference
  • ·         Turn over the uttappa and let it cook for 2 to 3 mins
  • ·         Onion uttappa is ready to serve
  • ·         Serve steaming hot with Coconut chutney and Sambar
