Misal Pav


Ingredients:


Matki Usal (Sprouted gram)
Onion – 1, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Ginger-garlic paste
Dry coconut grated – 2 to 3 tbsp
Turmeric powder, Chili powder, Coriander powder, Kaala masala and Salt
Mustard seeds for tempering

Instructions:

  • ·         Heat oil in a cooking pan, add mustard seeds
  • ·         When it splitters add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste – sauté
  • ·         Add the dry coconut grating and sauté it along 
  • ·         Add chopped tomato, all the masala ingredients, mix well
  • ·         Add the sprouts / matki usal, mix and let it boil for 5 mins with enough quantity of water
  • ·         When done, serve in a bowl with Chopped Onion, Coriander leaves, farshan (mixture/sev) and a dash of fresh lemon juice on it, along with Pav / bread / bun.
  • This is my favorite breakfast now. Its healthy and quick to make in the mornings.
