Sheera / Kesari / Halwa


Ingredients:

1 cup Rava / Sooji
Dalda / Ghee
Chopped Dry fruits – I added only dry grapes
¾ cup Sugar
1 mashed banana
Hot water

Instructions:
  • ü  Heat dalda / ghee in a pan
  • ü  When its melted completely add rava and fry it by continuously stirring in low flame till its nicely fried and brownish in colour
  • ü  I added the sugar while frying the rava itself so that it gets melted and mixed well with it
  • ü  When rava is roasted, add chopped dry fruits and mashed banana – mix well and now add hot water in it while stirring continuously till its cooked well and all water evaporates

  1. There's no quantity mentioned regarding ghee used?? & when exactly is sugar added??

  2. There is no exact quantity of ghee mentioned as its based on your preference... I prefer very less, just for the aromo... so used only 1 tbsp.... you can use as per choice...
    And I have clearly mentioned when Sugar was added. Plz read again
