Potato Capsicum sabzi


Ingredients:

Thinly sliced Potatoes
Sliced Capsicum
Chopped onion
Chopped tomato
Ginger-Garlic-Green Chili Paste(coarsely ground)
Chopped Coriander leaves
Oil
Mustard and Cumin seeds
Chili powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Kaala Goda masala / Garam masala
Salt to taste

Instructions:
  • Ø  Heat oil in a Kadai, add mustard and cumin seeds
  • Ø  When it splitters add ginger-garlic-chili paste
  • Ø  when the raw smell vanishes add chopped onion – sauté
  • Ø  Add Chili powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Kaala Goda masala / Garam masala and salt
  • Ø  When the masalas are mixed well, add chopped potatoes and capsicum – stir well and cook it covered with a lid which can hold half cup of water
  • Ø  Let it cook in medium flame
  • Ø  After few minutes add the chopped tomato – stir and again let it cook covered with lid
  • Ø  When done, add chopped coriander leaves and squeeze half a lemon – mix well and serve hot
