Methi dal

Ingredients:


Boiled toor dal
Mustard and cumin seeds
Chopped onion
Curry leaves
Green chilies
Chopped/crushed garlic cloves
Chopped tomato
Dry methi leaves (rinse with water and keep aside for 5 mins)
Hing, Haldi, chili powder, Dry mango (amchoor) powder, Salt and pinch of sugar
Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions:
  • ·         Heat oil in a Kadai, add mustard and cumin seeds
  • ·         When it splitters add hing, chopped Onion, Curry leaves, chilies and garlic – sauté
  • ·         Add Tomato, Chili powder, methi leaves – toss for a min and add steamed dal
  • ·         Now add haldi, dry mango powder, salt, sugar – mix well and let it boil
  • ·         Add coriander leaves at the end and serve
