Masala Oats

Ingredients:

Oil, mustard, cumin seeds, onion, green chilies, curry leaves, tomato, haldi (turmeric powder), sambar masala, salt, oats, water, coriander leaves.

Steps:

-          - Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard and cumin seeds
-          - When it crackles add the chopped onions, green chilies and curry leaves
-          - Saute for few minutes and add the chopped tomato
-          -  Add haldi, chili powder / sambar powder, salt – sauté well for a while
-          - When its cooked well add the oats to it and stir well till the masalas blend well with oats
-          - Keep adding little water and stirring till the time the oats are cooked. It hardly takes 3-5 mins.

-          - Add chopped coriander leaves, stir once before serving it steaming hot.
