Rice Flour Kolakattai

Ingredients:

Rice Flour - 3 cups
Chopped onion - 2 medium size
Green chilies - 4
Coconut - cut into tiny pieces
Channa dal
Urad dal
Salt

- Heat oil, fry channa dal and urad dal - keep aside.
- Add mustard and cumin seeds, when they splitters add the chopped onion, curry leaves and green chillis.
- Add the coconut pieces, along with the fried channa dal, urad dal and the other fried stuff. Let it cool.
- Add the rice flour, salt and mix it well with hot water to form a dry batter
- Take a handful of batter and press it in the palm which forms shapes as shown in the picture.
- Place those pressed batter on idli cooker and steam it the way we prepare idlis.

Serve hot with any chutney or just eat it as it is.
