Ingredients:
Paneer (cottage cheese) - 150 g
Green peas - handful
Onion - 2 medium sized
Tomato - 2 small sized
Green chillies
garlic cloves - 4to5
Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon and Cardamom
Red chillies
Pulao Masala
Chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Salt
- Add the chopped onions, green chillies and garlic in a mixie jar and grind it to form the onion paste.
- Also make tomato puree and keep it aside.
- Keep the steamed rice ready (should not be hot or sticky so try to cool the rice before adding it to the curry )

Steps:
- Heat oil in a kadai, fry the paneer pieces in it till it turns a little brown and keep it aside.
- In the same oil add Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon and Cardamom.
- Quickly add red chillies, mustard and cumin seeds. When it splitters add the onion paste, all the powders and masala, mix well and allow to cook
- Add the tomato puree to it and cook till oil starts oozing out of the curry.
- Add the fresh green peas or if not fresh then soaked and boiled hard green peas and salt.
- Allow it to cook for a while and then after checking for the taste add the rice and fried paneer to the curry and mix well.
- Squeeze half a lemon on the pulao, add little chopped coriander leaves, mix well before serving.
Accompanied by Raita or any gravy would make the meal special.
