Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 3, medium sized, boiled
- Carrot - 2, grated
- Green peas (dry peas, soaked overnight), boiled along with potato
- Onion - 1,chopped
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Green chillies, chopped
- Oil for shallow fry
- Salt to taste
- Chili powder
- Garam masala
- Turmeric powder
- Coriander leaves
- Lemon squeeze
- Maida/All purpose flour - 1 tbsp + water to make paste for coating the cutlets
- Bread crumbs
- Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger garlic paste - saute for few minutes
- Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and garam masala - mix well
- Add mashed potatoes, green peas and grated carrot - mix with the masalas well
- Add chopped coriander leaves and dash of lemon squeeze for tangy flavour and turn off the flame
- Let the mixture cool
- Make any shape of your choice with the cutlet mix
- Dip the cutlet pieces into the maida water on all sides and then coat with bread crumbs
- The bread crumbs will stick well with the maida water to form uniform coating
- Dust off any uncoated breadcrumbs and shallow fry the cutlets till they are crispy brown on both sides on a tawa
- Serve hot with tomato ketch up or any chutney of your choice
