Momos Chutney / Red chutney for Momos


Ingredients:


  • Blanched Tomatoes - 3 medium sized
  • Dry Red Chilies - as per spice preference
  • Garlic cloves - 3 to 4 
  • Ginger piece- 1 inch
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp / as per taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  • Heat 1 cup of water in a small vessel and
    blanch tomatoes and dry red chilies
  • Remove skin of the tomatoes and add it to the mixer jar along with red chilies, garlic, ginger, Vinegar, soya sauce,salt and sugar
  • Blend it to a smooth paste,check and adjust the taste
  • Best side dish for veg/chicken momos
  • It only stays good for a day in the fridge
  • Freeze it if you want to keep for longer
