
For the Dumplings:
Chopped cabbage - Quater of a medium sized cabbage
Grated carrot - 1
Finely chopped onion - 1 medium size
Finely chopped whole spring onion - 2
Ginger - garlic paste
2 tbpn cornflour
5 tbpn maida
3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves
2 finely chopped green chillies
Chilli powder
Black pepper powder
Salt
Sauce / Gravy:
2 tbsp oil
1 chopped garlic
1 chopped spring onion
2 green chillies
2 tspn ginger / Ginger-garlic paste
1 cup veg stock or water
1tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp cornflour with 1 cup water
pinch of sugar and Salt

* Form dumplings and deep fry in medium flame till its cooked well and turns brown and crispy
* Keep them aside and prepare sauce / gravy as follows
* heal oil in a sauce pan, add chopped spring onion, green chillies, garlic, ginger-garlic paste and mix well
* Add veg stock or water along with Soya sauce and add salt and pinch of sugar
* when about to boil add cornflour water into it and keep stirring till it reaches the desired consistency
* Once done, add the fried dumplings into it before serving
Garnish with chopped Spring onions and its grass.
This is a Starter but at the same time it can be used as side dish for Chinese fried rice as well!
