Chicken Curry - Dhaba style

Ingredients:

1. Chicken - 1/2 kg (chopped to medium sized pieces and washed)
2. All kinds of spices - bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, etc
3. Ginger - garlic paste
4. Tomato - 1 (pureed)
5. Brown onion paste (fried onions+curd+2-3cashew nuts)
6. Masalas - Turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt.

Steps:

* Heat pressure cooker and add oil in it.
* when its hot add all the spices in the list.
* After a minute or two add ginger garlic paste and add chicken pieces, mixing it well.

* Add tomato puree and all the masalas.
* Mix well and let it cook for few minutes.
* Now add the brown onion paste and water (if neccessary) and cover the lid to pressure cook the chicken.
* I cooked for 8 minutes in induction cooktop.

Once its cooked, garnish with cilantro, onion and tomato wedges. Also squeeze a little lemon on the curry while serving.

It tasted awesome with chapathi as well as jeera rice.
