Ingredients:
* Baby potatoes (about 15, washed, boiled with salt and peeled)
* Onion - 1, chopped
* Green chillies
* Ginger - half inch
* Tomato - , cubed
* cashew nuts - 5-6 (soaked in milk for atleast an hour)
* Curd - 3/4 cup
* Besan - 1 tablespoon
* White cream (malai)
* Masalas: turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.
=> Paste: (green chillies+ginger+tomato)
=> Also grind the soaked cashew nuts seperately.
=> Mix curd and besan with no lumps.
Steps:
1. Take the boiled and peeled potatoes and poke them with fork without breaking them (inorder to allow the gravy to be absorbed by the potatoes)
2. Heat a little oil and fry the potatoes for a while. Keep aside.
3. Heat oil again, add chopped onion.
4. Once its brown, add the paste and masalas. Mix well.
5. Add the curd with besan, mix well and then add the potatoes.
6. Let it cook for few minutes and then add ground cashew nut and cream, along with little water if necessary, garam masala and salt.
7. Cover the lid and let it cook for till we get desired consistency. Make sure it doesnt get burned. Keep stirring.
Garnish with cilantro black pepper powder!
