Ingredients:
- Bread slice cut into triangles
- Besan / Kadalamaavu / chickpea flour - 1 cup
- Finely chopped Onion - 1
- Finely chopped Tomato - 1 (small)
- Ginger garlic and chili paste (optional)
- Chopped Coriander leaves
- Ajwain /Omam / Carrom seeds - a pinch
- Hing - a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Chili powder
- Water to form the batter
- Oil to toast
- Tomato Sauce /Ketchup
Instructions:
- Mix all the mentioned ingredients with besan to form batter with thin consistency according to your taste preference
- Heat tawa and smear oil on it
- Take a triangular piece of bread, spread the batter on one side of it and place it on the hot tawa
- While the besan side is getting toasted, apply the batter on the top side
- Brush oil if required and cook both sides by flipping few times till its toasted well
- Avoid high flame which might burn the toast
- Serve hot when done along with Tomato Sauce /Ketchup
