Dal Fry


Ingredients:


Toor dal – 1 cup, pressure cooked
Oil
Cumin seeds – 2 to 3 tbsp
Green chilies – finely chopped
Garlic cloves – 6 or 7, finely chopped
Turmeric powder
Salt
Hing powder
Coriander leaves - chopped

Instructions:

  • ·         Heat oil in a Kadai, add a pinch of Hing powder
  • ·         Add Cumin seeds, Garlic and Green Chilies
  • ·         After 2 mins add cooked toor dal to it
  • ·         Add turmeric powder, salt and required amount of water
  • ·         Let it boil and at the end add chopped coriander leaves
  • ·         Serve with hot steaming rice
