Moong dal Vada


Ingredients:

Moong dal – 2 cups, soaked overnight
Ginger garlic paste
Green chilies
Onion – 1 big, finely chopped
Coriander leaves – chopped
Ajwain – 1 tsp (optional)
Salt

Instructions:

  • ·         Coarse grind soaked moong dal and green chilies without water
  • ·         Then mix it with ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, coriander, ajwain and salt
  • ·         Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the moong dal mixture to make vadas
  • ·         Serve it with tomato sauce or mayonnaise or any other dip
  • ·         I actually served it with coconut chutney and it was a good combination
