dal – 1 cup (Pressure cooked along with few garlic cloves and turmeric powder)

Mustard seeds and Cumin seeds

tsp each of Coriander powder, Cumin powder
Salt
to taste and pinch of sugar

leaves – chopped
Instructions:
- · Add water to the pressure cooked dal, and mix it until its disintegrated (dal paani) and then add salt and sugar to it – keep aside
- · Heat oil in a vessel and add mustard and cumin seeds
- · When they splitters add hing and immediately add chopped onions, curry leaves and green chilies
- · Sauté for few mins and then add chopped tomatoes and coriander leaves
- · Mix well and add Coriander powder and Cumin powder
- · Mix well and add the prepared dal paani to it
- · Mix well and let it boil for few mins and turn off the burner
