Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when it crackles add chopped onion, curry leaves and green chilies - saute
- Add grated carrot, chopped coriander leaves - saute and cook for 5 mins
- Add salt and the cooked stuff into the sour idly/dosa batter. Mix well
- Heat a non-stick tawa, add few drops of oil and add a scoopful of mixed batter
- Do not spread too much like dosa, but make it thick, small round
- Add oil around it and cover the tawa to cook the open side it in the steam (cook in slow/medium flame so that it doesnt get burnt on the other side)
- Open the lid and turn the uttappa around so that the other side also gets roasted a bit to have the crispyness
- Serve with chutney and sambar. You can even eat it just like that it tastes good.
