Ingredients:
Tomatoes
– 3
Spices
– Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon, Star anise, Pepper, Saunf, etc.,
Onion
Ginger-garlic
paste
Green
Chilies
Curry
leaves
Biryani
Masala, Salt, Turmeric powder
Rice
– washed, soaked and drained for atleast 15 mins
Coconut
grating – 1 tbsp
Chopped
coriander and lemon squeeze
Steps:
o Heat oil in a cooker, add
all the spices, mustard and cumin seeds, when they crackle add onion, green
chilies, curry leaves, ginger-garlic
paste – sauté well
o Add chopped tomatoes – sauté
o Add turmeric powder,
turmeric powder, salt and coconut grating – mix well and add soaked rice
o After frying it for a while
add enough water and close the lid – cook till 2 whistles
o Once the stream is out add
chopped coriander leaves and lemon squeeze – mix well and serve hot
