Maida
– ¾ cup
Cocoa
powder – ¾ cup
Sugar – 1 cup (powder it in mixer jar along with 2 elaichi)

/ Oil – ¾ cup
Eggs
– 3
Salt
– ¼ teaspoon
Baking
powder – ¼ teaspoon
Vanilla
Essence – 1 teaspoon
Dry
fruits – Pista, badam, kaju and dry grapes
Steps:
- · Add the wet ingredients first to mix it. I added the eggs, powdered sugar, vanilla essence, butter / oil into a food processor with kneader and ran it till its fluffily mixed
- · Take a mixing bowl , add maida, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder – mix well
- · Add it to the food processor and run for few minutes till the cake batter is formed with no lumps at all.
- · Prepare the baking tray – grease it with butter / oil and dust it with maida. Remove any excess maida.
- · Add the cake batter to the mould. Always fill only half the tray.
- · Add broken dry fruits on the batter – its ready now
- · Pre heat the OTG to 170 degrees both top and bottom for ten minutes
- · Keep the baking tray inside the OTG and maintain 170 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes
- · Once done remove the tray and let it cool down
- · Once cool remove it from the tray and decorate it
- · Do the icing/decoration as required and refrigerate it
As
it was the first time I baked the chocolate cake in the OTG i dint do the
icing, it was only on trail basis.
