Beetroot Soup / Rasam

Ingredients:

Beetroot - 1
Carrot - 1
Tomato - 2
Green chilies - 1
Red chili powder
Hing
Coriander powder
Rasam powder (Cumin seeds, black pepper, Curry leaves and Garlic)
Salt
Lemon juice

For Tempering:
Oil, Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Red chili / Black pepper powder, Curry leaves

Steps:
- In a pressure cooker add chopped beetroot, carrot, tomatoes, green chilies and cook till 2 to 3 whistles with water
- Cool it and then puree in a blender.
- Heat oil in a pan, add the tempering ingredients and when it splitters add the puree mixed with water.
- Let it cook for a while and add the rest of the ingredients, bring it to boil and serve hot.
