This is a very simple and easy to make starter recipe........ It tastes similar to tandoori chicken but slightly different taste without too much of masala.
Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken - 1/4 kg
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1 (Pureed)
Ginger garlic paste
Yogurt
Cumin powder
Coriander powder
Salt
Black pepper powder
Steps:
* Add chopped onion along with all other ingredients except tomato to make a puree
* Make seperate puree of tomato as well and then mix both.
* Marinate chicken in it for minimum of 1 hour. If you marinate it overnight in a fridge it will taste the best.
* Take it out of the fridge atleast half an hour prior to grill
* Grill it in grill pan or even in a tawa with oil and also add butter during the process
* Make sure all sides are grilled.. if you are using tawa then once it is cooked well on all sides, use a skewer rod and grill directly over the flame of gas stove for few mins to get that burnt flavor.
Serve along with Salads and Mayo sauce..... Yummy....
Also I added these grilled chicken peices in gravy which even adds up to the taste for those who dont like dry chicken.
