Smoked Kingfish

Kingfish - 1/4 Kg (cleaned and cut into fillets)

Vinegar + lime juice (1 tablespoon each) + salt

Marinate the fish fillets in this mixture for half an hour.

Meanwhile, keep red chillies, garlic cloves and pepper powder ready.

After half an hour, heat oil in a non stick frying pan and add red chillies.

Place the marinated fish in the pan and keep garlic cloves near the fish pieces.

Cover the pan with aluminium foil so that smoke doesn't escape and the flame should be slow so that it doesnt burn the fish. (I prepared it on induction cooktop so 300 degree was fine.)

After 5-10 mins remove the foil to turn around the fish. While doing this shower pepper powder on the fillets and close with foil once again.

Once all the sides are cooked well, turn off the flame.

Tips:
If its for breakfast serve with toasted bread with butter and salads.
For lunch or dinner one can prepare sauce with corn flour so that we can have it with rice as well. Shall write about making of sauce later.
