Ingredients:
Tomato - 3 big (chop into big chunks)
Potato - 2 small or 1 big in size, peeled and chopped
Cloves - 2 pieces
Bay leaf
Ginger-garlic paste
Green chilli - 1 (chopped into tiny rings with seeds removed)
Coriander leaves - chopped
Salt, Sugar and black pepper powder
Butter - 1 Spoonful
Cream (optional)
Steps:
1. Pressure cook tomatoes and potatoes along with cloves for 10 mins.
2. Once done, remove the cloves, peel off the tomato skin and puree it in a mixer. (But I pureed without removing the skin.)
3. Heat butter in a pan and when hot add bay leaf, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli and coriander leaves.
4. After 2 mins add the puree, salt, sugar (pinch) and black pepper powder as per taste preference and keep stirring to make sure it doesnt burn at the bottom.
5. Let it boil for few mins and turn off when it reaches perfect consistency of your choice.
Serve it with fried bread crums or fresh cream. Its definitely easy to make at home, healthy as well and can be served with fancy when you have guests at home.
