Onion-potato soup

This was the first soup I ever tried preparing at home. Till yesterday I use to prepare ready to make soups bought from the super market but now since the demand has increased I had to seek for a way to be prepared at home due to budget problem. Yes, of course budget as well as avoidance of preservatives and chemicals has to be kept in mind. Okay, so the quantity that I have mentioned here would be for three people.
Ingredients:
2 Potatoes
2 big onion
1 spring onion
Ghee – 1 spoonful
Ginger-garlic paste
Salt, Sugar and pepper as per taste.

Steps:
1.       Chop potatoes and onions into big chunks and pressure cook it till done well.
2.       Once done, puree it in a mixer jar to make paste, by adding water and keep it aside.
3.       Heat oil in a vessel, add ginger-garlic paste and once it is brown add the chopped spring onion and fry.
4.       After 2 mins add the puree and stir continuously by adding salt, sugar(a pinch) and pepper powder as per preference of taste.
It was so yummy and you can even add fried bread crumbs or fried noodles while serving. Fresh Cream can be an option too.
