Pumpkin Paratha

Ingredients:

Red Pumpkin (steamed and cooled)
Whole wheat flour
chopped green chillies
Ginger garlic paste
Chopped coriander leaves
Ajwain
Daniya powder (coriander powder)
Salt
Turmeric powder
Pinch of sugar


  1. In the Food processor bowl add the steamed and cooled pumpkin pieces along with chopped coriander leaves, green chillies, ajwain and pinch of sugar.
  2. With the kneader blade knead the above ingredients for few seconds till you find the pumpkin has been mashed and mixed well with rest of the ingredients.
  3. Once done, add the whole wheat flour, salt, ginger garlic paste, daniya powder, turmeric powder and knead the atta with very little water as the pumkin's moisture will take care of the rest.
  4. Take the dry dough in a bowl, add a tbsp of oil and knead with again manually.
  5. Make small balls, roll it to make shapes of your choice either round or square.
  6. Prepare paranthas with ghee and serve along with Fresh Curd or Raita.
