Egg roll


Egg roll can be made of several types. This one is prepared with chopped boiled eggs, wherein it can be prepared with omlete rolled in a chapathi or cooked on one side of the chapathi, etc., whichever suits the comfort and timing. This egg roll was a quick fix recipe before hurrying to office, with whatever I had ready at that moment. 

Ingredients:

Boiled egg – 2, roughly chopped into small pieces
Sliced onion – 1
Tomato sauce / Sweet chili sauce
Green chili sauce
Pasta and Pizza sauce
Salt and Pepper powder
Leftover or freshly prepared chapathi

Instructions:

  • ·         Apply the pasta and pizza sauce on one side of the chapathi
  • ·         In one corner of the chapathi place some chopped boiled egg and onion slices
  • ·         Top it up with tomato sauce and green chili sauce and temper salt and pepper powder
  • ·         Fold the chapathi a little from below to avoid spilling of the ingredients and roll the chapathi
  • ·         Enjoy it hot with more sauce as dip or pack it in an aluminum foil for lunch or quick bite during travel
