Coriander / Kothamalli Chutney

Take 2 spoonfull of channa dal and urad dal. Also clean and wash the coriander after removing the root part.

Heat little oil and fry both dal. When they are a little brown in color add them to a mixer jar.

Also add the coriander and toss them in the remaining oil till the time they are not raw anymore.

Add them to the mixer jar as well. Then add needed quantity salt, red chilis, grated coconut (little amount which is optional) and a piece of tamarind. Add little water and grind it in the mixer till it becomes smooth chutney.

Its a common side dish for idli / dosa... Also had with cooked rice...
